Little Movers is our nursery (6 weeks-5 years). Every Sunday, our youngest members are given opportunities to belong, participate, and reflect in a safe and fun environment. Sundays with the Little Movers comprises teaching, singing, and play. Our nursery lessons are curriculum-based and developed to ensure our learning times are repetitive and engaging. Our Little Movers also love to sing, and we do so every week to help teach truths about the nature of God. We also play a lot because community forms when we enjoy one another.
TM Kids is the kids’ ministry (Kindergarten-5th grade). The TM Kids belong in community together through games and times of prayer. They learn to participate in the way of Jesus by learning to practice spiritual rhythms. They learn to reflect the teachings of Jesus through compelling curriculum-based learning. Every game, every song, and every interaction is about your child knowing God and loving Him more. We can assure you that your child will enjoy every second of their time with us.
Our youth ministry is a place for teens to have community. Middle and high school students face unrelenting pressure to conform to the ways of the world. We are committed to continually giving them a place to get away from that pressure and instead passionately pursue the things of God in their heart. All of our youth teachings connect to identity, belonging, and purpose. Along with these teachings, our youth ministry seeks to help students form a rule of life that will carry them into adulthood. Our youth gathers in a monthly service and communal gatherings throughout the month.
The wellness of your child matters and is of great importance to our church. At Movement Church, every person who works with anyone under 18 has been background checked. We are committed to providing the best environment for your child or teen. From the cleanliness of our facilities to how we train our volunteers, we strive to take every precaution to provide your loved one with a place where they can safely move forward.
This isn’t just childcare. This is the eternally important work of forming a young person into the Christlikeness and the Ways of Jesus. Every moment of our gathering is planned to ensure we are making the most of the time we have been given.
The saying is true, “people don’t care what you know until they know how much you care.” All of our family ministries are profoundly relational. We want each student to know they are loved and that their presence is meaningful to our church. We genuinely believe our gathering is better with your child in it, and there will always be someone to greet them and show them.
